I couldn't follow yesterday and missed the whole PI thing.

I think Hayes is getting a fair trial. Fuller is the one screwing things up.
I just hope if Hayes takes the stand that RS holds it together and doesn't freak out in the court.

Or there is and was never a case for Hayes shooting Will dead

Defense hasn't reconstructed the scene? Ineffective counsel imho at this point in time.

#CardellHayes is sitting in an opposite jury box. He's never left the defense table. It's time. #WillSmithTrial

I'm sure he'll be saying that there was a lot of "I'll kill you, n..." type talk and that they came at him in an aggressive manner after he ran into them, but the fact remains that Smith was shot 8 times by his own vehicle and Will Smith's wife was shot twice while Hayes didn't have a scratch on him. Tough to defend that...

This right here. And one of the casings was found inside Smith's vehicle, indicating CH followed Smith to his car.

And it's also impossible to say you weren't an aggressor when you intentionally slammed into a car at almost 20 mph. That's not something that a non aggressor would ever do.

There is literally nothing Hayes can say that Napoli isn't ready for.

I'm no lawyer, but I agree with this. I just don't see this going well for Hayes at this point.

I'm at work, hiding in my office and refreshing twitter. I haven't used twitter in quite some time

The problem with that would be that he has never said that Smith said he was going to get his gun to kill him before.

If you were CH's defense attorney, would you put him on the stand?
I haven't been following 100% of the trail, but from what I can gather, it appears Hayes is in a bad spot. I think I'd let him testify. Maybe he'll come across in a sympathetic manner. What has he got to lose? 2nd degree murder is a mandatory life sentence, correct?
