That was before, now they love Broward & Palm Beach counties. Boca Raton, Hallandale Bch, Deerfield Bch, Boynton Bch, Delray, Wellington, etc.

Lmao, no. Millionaires in NYC are not going to pick up and move to Louisiana b/c their taxes might go up 1-2%. You people are truly delusional.

Amen. Of all the places in this great country one could move to, why would anyone choose a subtropical, dysfunctional, corrupt hellscape, plagued by unbearable humidity, hurricanes, confiscatory insurance premiums, insects, decaying infrastructure, rampant illiteracy, STDs, rampant crime, underperforming schools, nepotism, cronyism, gridlock, and heat? The only people choosing to live here are natives or those shackled to this state via employment.
No high achieving New Yorkers are targeting Louisanan as their bug out destination to escape NY socialism.

Tulane’s student body is made up of the worst kind of northerners. Rich, entitled, and liberal.

Sounds like quite the struggle, but thankfully for us northerners you knuckle dragging, mouth-breathing, sister fricking, neanderthals all keep your asses down there. As a native born and raised southerner I was certainly one of the lucky ones to finally escape that cult of worshiped mediocrity. Hmmm...mediocrity is probably a bit too generous, but I'll stick with it to end on a little flattery so not to come across as overly contemptuous.

The exodus only benefits the democrats as they will move to red states like Florida and Texas. Solid plan if you think about it

Still can't believe the world's richest city elected that Muslim jackass.

He's the exact opposite of why NYC became the richest city in the world.

Thousands of people will move out of New York when they couldn’t even get off their asses to vote for his opponent?

Count me as skeptical

No, because there’s not gonna be any exodus. People don’t pack up and leave the only city they have ever known because their candidate didn’t win an election. Politics simply are not important enough for any of that bullshite.

Tag me when you do. I know that many of them love New Orleans for the architecture, food, and culture. But will they move to the area as a permanent resident?
