The sidewalks are busy with everyone. A lot of these people have never stepped foot in a gym, but with the kids home, they feel the need to get out of the house.
Me and my daughter ride this bike path all the time. I have never seen it as busy as it was this morning.
Every sidewalk in Uptown alomst looks like there is a parade going on with people walking to and from.

I doubt it. As long as we have so many obese people in this country there will be plenty of people pushing "body positivity". A trip to the grocery store or a look at the number of fast food places everywhere doesn't give me much hope for change. All you can really do is eat well and try to instill healthy eating habits in your kids.

Hey now, I represent this remark

It’s a shame that I was run off from shooting BB at my daughters school. I was outside and not a soul around. Campus security told me to leave because “ Campus is closed due to the Virus”. Just trying to stay fit mentally/physically and Campus-Super cop shows up. All parks and gyms are closed. I had been playing there for a couple years with no issue. The school has gates but I have never seen them closed.I could see if I had 5-10 people out there! C’mon man!

wondering if the majority of all those 600 lbs life are gonna die with this since its not if, but just a matter of when, everyone is gonna get this thing, and thats a fact of reality

This event has definitely encouraged me to shed a few pounds and get healthier. I’m not morbidly obese, and probably not a high-risk if I do get COVID, but I am overweight according to science.
And if anybody is still smoking cigs after all of this you are just dumb. Like really really dumb.

Doesn't mean you have to tell them how gross they are. There's a difference in body shaming and what is being discussed here

Nor should there be people telling them how beautiful they are and how being obese is perfectly fine.

Fat people have no shame. Don’t expect this experience will change anything. As for sickness? In 2020, does anyone need to be told that obese=unhealthy? Hardly.
By the same token, the folks who have taken care of themselves, are in shape and exercise regularly? They’re going to keep it up despite the inconvenience. They’ll eat right, find a way to exercise, and will keep their weight down.
No sympathy here.
