if you do pay this shite (you wont), get in writing from the collection agency that you are agreeing to a PAY FOR DELETE.

Call and settle. Hospitals will settle quickly. Just ask for discounts.

Your credit is screwed. You'll just have to wait a little while longer to get that dream double-wide.

Clearly you haven't read the OP. Dude has plenty of money new car, new house, but he just forgot about a $70 bill and the 8 subsequent notices the hospitals sent him before sending him to collections.

I never pay my medical bills until they threaten to send it to collections. I am always hoping insurance will cover it. If they are sending it to collections, then you owe it.

A not very well-known protip for medical debt is they can't make you pay a minimum like a credit card company or credit union does.
They will suggest a payment on the bill but call and tell em you sending $10-$20 a month.
It can be on a $6k bill and they'll accept it. And its 0%apr.

TLDR never ever let medical debt go to collections.

Since the debt has already been sold to a CA, paying the hospital will not help.

Since it's only $70, tell them you'll pay them if they'll simply remove it from your credit record - it's called a "pay and delete". They really don't want to spend much time trying to collect on a $70 bill, and it isn't worth the ding on your credit for anything less than full removal. If they won't remove it, don't pay anything at all.

And next time, make sure your hospital bill is paid in full before moving on.

Pay the bill. Ask for pay and delete, if it has hit your credit.

He's probably going to benefit from the new credit reporting formula.

The one that uses income as a heavy calculations so banks can loan retards money and then rape them on P&I

Yes retard, an unpaid debt will hurt your credit score.

Call the hospital and try to get them to pull it back from collections and pay it.

So just irresponsible and/or dumb, got it.
calls people dumb. Too ignorant to know how this process works. Hospital doesn't care any more.

I know exactly how it works. The hospital may not care, but he can also try to get them to pull it out of collections if not everything is final.

I'll even give you the journal entries from both entities, with of without assignments.

Good try though.

But they already sold that debt and wrote it off to the collections agency. It's off their books. They have no interest anymore.

His best bet is to 'pay to delete'. And normally the collection agencies don't report for 30 days after receiving it from the hospital.

Not necessarily, see my above comment regarding assignment.

There is zero chance that a person who has a $70 bill going to collections has a 700 credit rating. ZERO chance.

Jesus Christ dude, obvious lies are obvious.

My credit rating is 706 Trans Union 714 Equifax I just looked them up on Credit Karma and I take scrupulous cared of my credit. Hospital sends me a bill I pay it and then fight with the insurance company later if I owe, especially over a lousy $70.

And further NO ONE that "forgets" to pay a bill even once has a credit rating of 700 plus.
