That’s crazy that the structure is still there. You can hear a loud pop at the end of the video I’m assumed that was his truck

More rain in the general Merryville area. Just NW of town.

Think the fire could be causing rain to pop up?

Yep. It isn't just the fire causing it, but it acts as a forcing mechanism to help showers get going. If the environment around wasn't supportive of rain showers/storms the fire wouldn't be enough on its own.

Shower also popped up south of the fire between Rosepine and Fort Johnson just like the one near Merryville

Just got a Facebook notice for Dry Creek, Bundicks Lake, Kipling and Sugartown residents to be on the lookout for someone throwing burning toilet paper rolls out their car window.

Does this happen on the west coast too? Colorado? I never hear of rain during wild fires out there.

Saw that post. Unfortunately it will probably just encourage more idiots and they'll make sure they pour an accelerant on the TP.
It's never a good idea to give attention to the idiots because it just encourages others to do the same shite when they see it gets attention

Good rains coming through Fort Johnson and Rosepine hopefully they keep up as they head south and give the area a good soaking

It looks like it’s been raining on that rosepine fire for over an hour. It’s raining in town now
