Get a lawyer. Have your lawyer contact (and threaten) Racetrac Corporate.

If all else fails, go on linked-in and search "Racetrack Petroleum". You can find a lot of emails for higher ups that would love to hear something like this happening and nobody doing anything about it.

My family is only allowed to get gas at Costco. Attendant in duty, membership is worth it can save money on gas cost.
Only place I feel safe for them to get gas.
Also always other people there they don’t allow panhandlers begging for money.

At the scene they didn't much. (I'm not sure what they are supposed to do AFTER a crime). But they took her statement. Went inside to ask about tapes. Came back and said "no one is there to pull tape right now."

But now they are basically saying "the report hasn't been filed yet. Then a detective will decide what to do. That can take 7-10 days".

I did not, but only because I didn’t go in until 8 this particular Monday.

But there are tons of people around at that time, no one else saw anything?

Agreed. They have to report all incidents like this to Corporate as well their insurance carrier in case their is a damages claim. The internal documentation will include all relevant CCTV footage and witness statements if applicable.

The answer is yes they did. One dude driving a white truck with his window down just yelled "call the police, call the police." Then got gas and left.
A school bus driver tried to talk to my wife but she left since my wife was on the phone with 911.
