Neighbor's dog was missing a back leg and I think it was better for him because of the less weight on the backside. He carried his back leg almost in the middle when he walked or ran.

Owned a dog missing a leg since birth. He didn't know any different and didn't slow him down in life. Can't go wrong with a loyal dog

My neighbor has a 3 legged puppy who is the happiest dog ever. Super playful and has no issues running and playing with my dog

Had a husky who passed away 2 weeks ago. He got around for the last two years on 3 legs pretty good.

I don't have a 3 legged dog, but I have dogs that have hurt a leg in one way or the other which led them to not put any pressure on that one bad leg.
It never slowed any of them down running around on 3 good legs and one bad one.

We had a pack of about 15 hunting dogs at the camp when I was younger.. the best dog out of all of them was a three legged walker hound named Chester.. had the best nose and was always leading the pack. He could keep up with them as well

No, only 2 dogs at a time. We were going to wait until our old choc lab passed, then get 2 lab puppies, yellow and black colored.
I'm already leaning toward saying yes after the dog recovers from surgery and meets the family first.
