The wife of the French Settlement police chief, who was arrested for allegedly driving drunk Saturday night, first attracted law enforcement attention when she pulled into the lot of the village's police department, a probable cause affidavit says.
Tammy Brignac, 50, drove a red Dodge Ram pickup to the French Settlement Police Station and turned her headlights out, the affidavit signed by Louisiana State Police Trooper Derrick Parish says.

The incident set off a series of events that ended with Brignac being arrested for driving while intoxicated, speeding and driving with a suspended license.
quote:
Tammy Brignac and her husband, Harry, are involved in a dispute with the village over whether she can drive a patrol car.
quote:
The village Board of Aldermen have asked the state Attorney General for an opinion as to whether Tammy Brignac can drive a patrol car — as she did in the annual Christmas parade — without providing her driver's license number to the village's insurer.
quote:
Tammy Brignac has said the reason she won't give her license to the village is because she does not trust the town's officials.

Must be some bad blood between the villages. I live just outside and Harry lost the POlice Chief spot when he didn’t fill out some disclosure forms to the state and had to get re-elected. I think she is/ was the crossing guard in French settlement

Have you ever seen Harry? I swear all the people in the Port Vincent/French Settlement area are related and have webbed toes.

I was going to say she's probably one of those "Do you know who I am?" type ladies, while talking to the assistant manager, but then I saw her pic....

It would take at least $100k for me to touch that, and that would be while wearing a full body condom.
ETA: Don't think I could pick her up like that.
