No bitch, that's what's been happening this entire time.
This must be innate to the female mind. Have seen and heard of this same language used time and time again.
Lol at all this.

seems to me if she really was seeking her husband to invest in a last ditch effort to save the marriage, she wouldn’t have led with “i want a divorce”

This chick is attractive, in good shape and employed. She will definitely find another man willing to put up with this crap. They always do.
Sadly, this is true. she is attractive and appears to have a nice body. She will find some dude to fall for her. It will probably end up that either she or him will be miserable but so be it.
From looks alone, it seems like a guy would put up with a lot coming from her. However, most guys have a breaking point and he definitely reached it. She must be insufferable.

Therapist here. The board of examiners should revoke her therapist’s license for that. Completely inappropriate way of handling that situation. Also, her husband dodged a bullet getting out of that.

Yep and if you let your guard down and grovel just one time, they will forever do this on a weekly basis.

I categorize it exactly the same as watching TV.

Been there. My ex said she wanted the divorce, but wouldn't file. I tried to find a way to keep it together; basically begged to keep it together. She refused, so I took the next step. Then, once she was hit with the papers after 6 months and I explained how it would all go, she had the nerve to say "oh wow, this is real". Um, yeah you dumb hooker; it's been real. Luckily, no kids, no mortgage together. That was over 10 years ago. Looking back with the family I have now, yeah, it was the right move. Some of them really aren't worth it.

Need that pic that says "I just foster women until they find their forever home"

Before we were married…..my wife broke up with me. She was about 22 at the time. II knew that in a few days she’d regret it and all will be well. At the time I was busy with work and putting in long hours. So I just said “I’m sorry you feel that way….wish you the best. Gotta go.”
Like 5 hours later she wanted to get back together.
She hasn’t done stuff like that since. Actually matured and turned into an amazing wife and mom.
I think some immature women like to manufacture insecurity and get really annoyed when it doesn’t work or the boyfriend just calls them on their bullshite.
In my case….I had a manipulative mom that couldn’t control her kids. I grew up with the guilt trips and other bullshite because that’s the only card she had. As an adult I have zero patience for that crap in women and I won’t play the game. It makes me come off as cold but that’s just what happens when you grow up in my environment.

Lots of women love drama, and it doesn't matter if it's "Good Drama or Bad Drama", but what they hate the most is total indifference, and that is where she landed when she pulled that stunt.
He took it, processed it and without actually saying it, he decided on "Fuuk it, it's not worth it anymore-----time to move on".
And she couldn't handle it.

I like how she says he didn't think their relationship was worth fighting for all the while ignoring the fact that they were in marriage counseling and her not realizing that was him trying to fight for their relationship
He could’ve just been showing up, trying to keep peace until it’s time for video games.

The woman said no empathy…while the guy was saying great let’s get divorced. He was feeling exactly what she was feeling. That seems like empathy to me.

Casting pearls before swine. Much wisdom in your assessment. If they didn't have that vitamin P - we'd hunt them with dogs.

I’d quit to if my chick kept fricking everyone all the time too.

Anybody else catch the Freudian slip at the beginning there?
'My therapist--our marriage counselor!'
With the exception of some feel-good stories shared in this thread, marriage counseling is often a trap for men.
Tag-team between the wife and her de facto therapist. If the therapist is an unmarried female, purchase some Astroglide for when they bend you over in divorce court.
