We live basically on the banks of the 'hooch and three have been run over in the neighborhood. One across the street and 2 years ago my poodle got after one with a frog in his mouth at my back door and another took off crawling in the front yard. We have a very wooded lot and I think there is a nest in our woods.

Not that it is of any interest to anyone here, but damn. My pups. They are all over my watermelon patch next to those woods.

I saw a rattlesnake in the woods 6 years ago. This could have been me.

Being that close to the Hooch there are a ton of diamondback water snakes around as well. I have seen manythrough the years between Lake Harding and Eufaula back when I lived in Columbus

We used to live out in the country in LP and we had tons of Copperheads. I always wanted to capture some speckled king snakes from my grandfather's land an release them on our lot. Bye bye copperheads.

Get a black mouth cur and theyll leave you 2-3 headless rattlesnake bodies and some squirrels on your back porch when you get home from work everyday.

ETA: someone told me once that they are trying to tell me that they think I can't feed myself, despite all the wild hog meat we hunt together. So I gotta call bs on that.

there is nothing that will stop you in your tracks and make you shite your pants than a rattlesnake rattling like a mother fricker 4 feet away. It's unmistakable and terrifying

Sometimes, I talk about cars and dream about women. Not saying I have a plan or anything but my motto is live for the minute.
