It might be old and maybe even fake. But it definitely happens. I've absolutely seen spouses come into couples therapy (male and female) deciding they want a divorce (and asking to disclose it in session) and then are shocked when the other doesn't fight it.
It's generally a symptom of long festering issues, incompatibility, etc. and one of the people in the couple are finally fed the frick up.

Thats pretty much how mine went. I wasn’t mad, wasn’t sad, was kinda relieved actually. Today we get along great and coparent really well.

Dont want to sound like a redpill dude but the ball is in men's court now. Women will have to adjust to this new dating market sooner or later.
A lot of guys can just live the bachelor's life with no shame or date a more attractive or agreeable foreign woman. There's a lot more options now than just putting up with the nagging/shaming so you won't be lonely.

Men are so sick and tired of women broadcasting their lives on social media…. and more importantly, airing their personal/marriage dirty laundry
I run across reels frequently where a wife is bitching about her husband who doesn’t know how to barbecue … doesn’t know how to fix his car, or he’s not handy enough or all these other things, yes, she’s a total bitch for doing that but at the same time I’m thinking her husband must be a total cuck to tolerate that shite
