through the neighborhood?

Its the coolest night so far, and everyone is out and about.

Am I missing some secret mosquito killing tactic or strategy?

Just because it’s a little cool out doesn’t mean there aren’t mosquitoes and mosquitoe larvae still alive.

If you've ever worked in any state or parish government position, you know the phrase "if we don't spend it this year, we don't get it next year" all too well.

It's what's wrong with all forms of government.

Hah...Did see some people skip through some yards to avoid the spray.

I haven't seen or heard the truck in a month. Just weird they pick tonight.

Possibly a diversion to make you let your guard down?

"All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near."-Sun Tzu

And you believe they're spraying for mosquitoes?

Just remember this night when your son becomes a girl.

In EBR they do the ground truck about every 2 weeks and the plane once a week typically through October.

It's about damned time! The wife and I have noticed a definite uptick in the amount of mosquitoes over the past week or two.

I dont understand how this philosophy cant be fixed. It is in all stages of government; local, parish, state, federal.

It is fricking common sense. If you dont spend it this year you should bad more to spend next year for something that is needed. But these fricking clowns are going about it backwards which is why there is not enough money year in and year out to do needed projects because it was wasted the year before, just because "it needed to be spent."

Maybe they wanted to do it the night before the National Night Out Against Crime?

We have our event planned for this evening and it would be nice not to get eaten alive out there this year like we did last year. It was miserable.
