The real reason they added Q for Queer to remove the stigma and so "Queer" loses its power as a slur.
Sometimes you will see LGBTQQ with the second Q for questioning

Apparently Queer is now an acceptable phrase for non-heterosexuals. And I'm good with this. I'm happy the queers have come to term with being queers. I remember the days when calling a queer a queer caused a stir but now the queers have come full circle. I was only calling you queer because you were queer. It was never because of hate but merely because you're a queer. All I'm saying is that I'm glad that non-queers can call queers queers again without dirty looks from f@gs.

I don't really understand why they are all lumped into the same group to begin with. To me, there is a huge difference in a gay person and a trans person. One just has a different sexual attraction preference, the other has a total identity confusion. Those seem like completely different categories.

Th real reason they added it and all the other crazy gender crap is because people think that self applying a label makes them feel special.

I believe Q or Queer means you're figuring your sexual identity out.
