The Bible and Koran both forbid usury. Though in the Christian faith that seems to have gone the way of not suffering witches to live.

i've asked this many years ago.
The hate for Jewish people from Liberals, Conservatives,rednecks, blacks,etc was confusing.
I think the Jews stay with Liberals, because they have a battered syndrome thing. Liberals, including the last president, took shits all over the Jews, and didn't even try to hide their disdain for the ones in Israel.

Jews have the highest IQ in the world. There is always hate for others who are smarter.

My FIL is a devout (for the most part) Catholic.
I can tell he has a dislike for Jews. Up to, but not quite all out, saying the Holocaust was "justified".
Otherwise, he's a loving guy. I don't understand his stance on this.
Maybe it's a Roman Catholic Church thing. You know the RCC needs to squash all "competitors" to the Church.

Ancient people became resentful of Jews because they were successful. For example, look how the Egyptians treated them once they became threatened by their growing population and influence.
The Jews were God's chosen people, but after they repeatedly turned their backs on Him, other groups also got a seat at the table beginning with the new covenant.

Because they arent specifically located in 1 county.
They basically lived throughout several areas of the world so it was seen as basically leeching off whatever society they were in at that time.

You are referring to Hasidic Jews.
I don't think orthadox, and certainly reformed, fall in to the category of "leeching."
