Why must poor and/or rednecks have a hat on at all times?

This is particularly noticeable in Louisiana. Church, weddings, Thanksgiving, whatever, these guys wear a hat (usually mesh trucker style with neon collars) at all times. It takes 30 seconds to comb your damn hair, be an adult.
Trashy gets thrown around way too much on here, but this idiotic trend is trashy.

so true, the ones at the weddings where it is off and as soon as the last wedding party pic is taken, that hat is coming out hot. i chuckle every time i see it

This is one of the stupidest narratives on the OT. You get judged on how you look all the damn time. Whether its your physical appearance, how you dress, how you carry yourself, all sorts of shite. Just because you don't care you look half way to homelessness doesn't mean it doesn't affect you.
