Why isn't the military performing the vaccinations?

Seems like it would make more sense for the military to perform the vaccinations in a federally coordinated operation using vaccination centers.

Seems weird that we're relying on the individuals hospitals, health departments, and CVS Pharmacy to do this.

Why would the military recreate an infrastructure that already exists?

Because the vaccine isn't deliverable by a drone on a hellfire missile to a village of Iraqi children.

Could do drive through free vaccinations at predetermined checkpoints

That would mean a federal decree and possibly mandatory.

No thanks.

Would imagine most of the people who the national guard would use to give the shots are already employed by hospitals and such.

The vaccines would ultimately cost $900,000 per dose if the military took it over.

Because that is not their job.

You have to monitor post-vaccine for allergic reactions.

Just goes to show how inept this administration is and how it doesn’t care that this virus is disproportionately affecting and killing POC and members of the LGBTQIAP community

Their job is to protect the country, right?

And, it is my understanding that DoD was pretty heavily involved in Warp Speed.

Why hasn't the military retaliated against the Chinese in any way? A bioweapon was used against us.

Oh, I know why the military wasn't involved. The left is holding them (military) back from doing any harm against their commie friends.

Do you think the military should be responsible for every action that protects our country?

I would prefer a nurse over a private who didn't graduate high school giving me a shot, but that's just me.

Why would an untrained private give the shot? That isn't what I'm saying.

Seems like the current method is really disorganized.

As opposed to the super organized start of covid with the military involved?

Medicine sent to hospitals where we work through a list of groups to receive it seems pretty basic.

Yep, completely bizarre to use the entities that are responsible for giving the public almost all their vaccines. How many members of the military do you think actually know the difference between a 27ga needle and a 14ga? Is it possible the ones that do might actually have a job to do in the military right now? Sorry but this is a stupid take.

Right, but from actual, real threats not a heightened cold and flu season
