izing the administration's grossly incompetent response to a national health crisis =/= "politicization."

This is what Pimp is talking about. Trump could wave a wand and produce a vaccine for this and he'd still be yelled at by people who hate him.

I was curious. So I used the Google Machine and looked at how the print media reported Obama and Swine Flu. What I found was an avalanche of fawning adjectives combined with the constant refrain of "so brilliant when contrasted against GWB's Katrina catastrophe, yada yada yada". Go ahead, google it yourself.
As always, the Progressive Ideology writes the news before the news has even happened. When something, anything occurs, WE ALREADY KNOW THE PHONY SHITE SANDWICH THAT THE MEDIA WILL FEED US. We know the language. We kow the phony parade of outraged sob sisters. We know the media will tell us everything, even VIRUSES are race-centic.We recognize the reliance on 19th century Marxist assumptions about race and class. And how above all else, it will reliably and faithfully, parrot the Democratic Party line.
And we also know their will be a parade of Soy Boys, doily-folders, circus clowns, carnies and other Useful Idiots who will line up to yell at anyone who objects. See Salmon, semi-professional debutante darling of The Upright Ladies Brigade.

Trump has been working on this since it was just a China problem,
quote:He has been publicly peddling misinformation and baseless statements about the virus's transmission potential contrary to axiomatic epidemiological evidence.
while also publicly displaying calm and asking for the same.
quote:I won't defend the media as a whole but I will rely on them to provide critical information the administration can't and won't.
Meanwhile, the media that composes the majority of Americans' information diet has been calling him racist and incompetent the whole way.
quote:Alternative theory - they see this man for what he is.
It's the same reason people have been calling for him to be impeached since election day. It's not because they are informed, it's because they have been told to want it.

This is perhaps the most ludicrous statement I've ever read on this board. This virus emanated in a rural province of eastern China because of a predilection for eating bat soup. The idea that one man has the power or ability to stop or control the spread of a virus is absolutely absurd and beyond reason. Again, your hypocrisy is showing. If Trump acts unilaterally, he's a dictator. If he doesn't act unilaterally, he's incompetent. Nothing he could do would satisfy you because you're eaten up with TDS.

Wrong. He is first and foremost, a NON-IDEOLOGICAL, FERVENTLY-PRO-AMERICAN PROBLEM-SOLVER. Exactly what this country needs.
But by all means, continue to emote hysterically until your penis flees your body in terror.

Kinda like that time 2 people died in the US from Ebola but people were shitting themselves criticizing Obama for not doing enough all the way up until the midterms in 2014.
It's almost like people pick a team and pull for that team no matter what the facts state.

He couldn’t or wouldn’t solve our testing capacity problem with a month long head start.

Two things:
1. Link?
2. Is a critical voice here and there Equivalent to a media torrent somehow ?

Provide PROOF (as opposed to assertion). Obviously you are a medical supply chain and health provider logistics expert so I eagerly await your forthcoming truth bomb.

quote:That is a strawman of the epic proportions. Where did I suggest anything of the sort? Nothing was going to STOP the virus from reaching America (even if Trump somehow believes that a border wall would do the trick) or its spread.

I just saw a report that Senegal - fricking SENEGAL - is already testing people and getting results in four hours.
Our president was on national TV two weeks ago displaying his inability to grasp the concept that a flu vaccine would be ineffective against this virus and to comprehend the fact that a virus vaccine would not be available for months down the line.

And FWIW, the LIBRUL MEDIA didn't cause stock market futures to tank immediately after Trump's speech last night. The LIBRUL MEDIA aren't causing the exponential infection rate that nearly tracks Italy's. The LIBRUL MEDIA are spreading the message of social distancing, flattening the curve, and best practices for minimizing exposure.

It's good thing Ebola didn't hit us hard.
That skinny Kenyan was as clueless during that crisis as he was for 8 long years.

The irony is Trump tweeted a handful of times criticisms of Obama's handling of Ebola. But God forbid we make any critical comments of Trump's handling of this outbreak lest we be labeled with having TDS.
11 people in the US were infected with Ebola.

How many tests have been run? Up until the privte labs finally were able to launch, you couldn't get tested unless you went to a level iii country oie had documented contact with an infected person.
frick off, provide PROOF that we did have adequate testing. Go ask any ER doc. Go look the CDC tests run numbers (before they stopped reporting) compared to South Korea. For frick's sake, Bahrain was testing more than we were. I believe we just caught up to Bahrain yesterday.
Dr. Fauci testimony today:
quote:
The idea of anybody getting (tested), easily, the way people in other countries are doing it, we're not set up for that. Do I think we should be? Yes, but we're not."
"The system is not really geared to what we need right now -- what you are asking for... That is a failing. It is a failing. Let's admit it.

I didn't vote for him in 2016. And I think this entire Coronavirus scare is just that: an overreaction being stoked by a media more interested in ratings than reality.

So , you and I agree we have a lot of retards in the medical profession in the United States ?
How is that Trump's fault ?

Dude, the man put travel limits on China before this became the phenomenon that it is. He was actually more proactive than his predecessors have been.
To quote you, "This is simply a self-evident truth."
