Listen any knowledgeable conversation about American Conservatism , Trump Populism, Anti- Establishment energy, Neoconservativism , Paleoconservatism etc today would be so far above your head that even trying is follow. Another, smarter poster explained it to you earlier.

Just as a favor though, you should know that the NeoConservative Jewish Intellectual wing of the party has self- isolated from the Republican Party. They are now firmly in the Democratic Party camp where they belong. Soon they will go full circle back to their historical Socialist roots.

You are welcome. If you have any other questions, begin your question with Dearest Monsignor Pimpness.

I haven’t seen you this agitated since Republicans told you to stop all the Jim Crow shite. No wait, you were pretty pissed when the glorious Venezuelan Revolution failed. That was a real doozy. Glad you came out of that one, comrade.

So the mortality rate is closer to .24%? That's great news.

Anyone know how many tests have been performed?

Orange man Bad. Orange Man Not stop Virus.

I asked you to answer questions and you just repeat the same stupid line. I cannot provide you "factual evidence" because CDC stopped reporting the number of tests run when they fell behind Bahrain, UK, Spain...etc.

SIMPLE QUESTION:

Why do we not have the testing capabilities of other countries and whose fault is it?

When asked about testing capacity Trump has responded:

"Testing has been going very smooth."

"We are way ahead"

"And the whole situation is — the testing has been amazing, actually."

"But I think, importantly, anybody, right now and yesterday, that needs a test gets a test. They’re there, they have the tests, and the tests are beautiful. Anybody that needs a test gets a test,”

Is Trump lying or do you believe him?

The only thing I have paid attention to in terms of politics and the coronavirus was the president's speech last night. I watched it just to see what information he was going to offer and all he did was talk about how the US is handling this better than any other country, blamed Europe, mentioned how strong the economy is and banned travel to Europe not including UK.

And to the people who downvote this.. or call me a dumbass at least tell me how I am wrong, because I would like to know if I missed something,

Here's some politicization for you.

In 2018 Trump fired the entire US Pandemic Response Team. Eliminated their positions.

Life comes at you fast.

His statements were made on or around 3/6.

quote:

On Feb. 29, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) expanded its Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) policy to allow more labs to apply for approval to conduct testing for COVID-19. Until the announcement, two labs run by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and a few state labs were the only ones in the country that could test for the disease.

So a longstanding policy had to go through the usual red tape of fedgov.

quote:

On Mar. 4, the CDC also expanded the criteria for who can be tested. The agency initially recommended that doctors not test everyone with symptoms of fever, coughing and difficult breathing, but only if they had these symptoms as well as a history of traveling to an area where cases are endemic, or being in close contact with someone who is diagnosed as positive. Those criteria have now be loosened so any physician can order the test based on his or her discretion (although most are likely to continue to follow CDC guidelines to avoid over-testing).

More red tape was cut on this date.

10s of thousands of tests have been conducted since these policy changes. The policies were not implemented by the Trump admin. Probably not even the Obama or Bush admins.

But because he did it.. He knew what he was doing and made the right decision. If he had a D by his name instead of an R then (as for as this board is concerned) it would be the worst thing a president could do.

The head of the pandemic task force and another guy on the team actually quit abruptly at the end of 2018. The roles they would have had during this are currently being performed by others.

But since it's Trump, you believed that poster without verifying. See how that works? That's how regular people knowingly or otherwise politicize this thing.

15,000 cases does not warrant this hysteria.

150,000 cases does not warrant this kind of panic.

When we get 15,000,000 cases...we'll talk about panic.
