Looking at the worldwide numbers we have over 200,000 cases more than Spain who is reporting the 2nd most cases

It's not. We are managing it quite well.

Spain has 47 mil people and italy has 60 mil people. That’s 110 mil combined and the USA has 320 mil? Plus, the USA for the most part is reporting all positive cases and deaths. Most countries are not.

Because population. We states that are the side of countries. New York could bee a country on its own. Then we face smaller but still significant outbreaks across the rest of our country.

We have tested around 1.8 million people (over 2x as many as the next closest country). More tests = more positive results. Many of these are mild cases that otherwise would be passed off as a cold.

Population of Spain: 46.66 M
Population of California: 39.56 M
Population of US: 327.2 M
So the US has over 7 times the population of Spain but only 200,000 more cases?

People use gross numbers when it fits their agenda and ignore percentages. Funny enough, when the gross number is what matters, they turn to the percentages.
Seems like the United States are fairing rather well outside of a few densely populated areas. It's still serious here, but comparing the number that really matters, we're the same or better.

Plus we are a helluva lot more thorough and doing more testing.
There's no telling what the actual numbers are in other countries!
