The courts don't see it that way, take the suicide case that was posted here recently, you can take the first sentence of the judges ruling and just substitute fraternity for Carter.

"This court has found that Carter's actions and failure to act where it was her self-created duty to Roy since she put him in that toxic environment constituted reckless conduct," Bristol County Juvenile Court Judge Lawrence Moniz said. "The court finds that the conduct caused the death of Mr. Roy

"Michelle Carter was found guilty Friday of involuntary manslaughter in a case largely built on text messages she sent urging her 18-year-old boyfriend, Conrad Roy III, to commit suicide in July 2014 by inhaling carbon monoxide in his pickup truck."

I was Greek and I would have no problem with the Greek system going away. If kids want to have a social club they can do it off campus and not affiliated with the school. Universities have bigger things to worry about, like teaching your arse.

What happened to him was awful but their is blame to go around, not just one group of people

All it took was 1 sentence about Ole Miss to distract you enough to contradict yourself in the same paragraph?

LOL if you think they’re worried about “teaching” anyone. That shite goes out the window the moment tuition is paid. They’re interested in indoctrination and money. Go sit in any freshman class ( at LSU) and tell me they give a shite about whether the kids learn.
They want money and To try social experiments.

As far as moving off campus, that will only lead to bigger issues as what little oversight the university has would go away completely

This look of being very defensive when someone says anything that's not pro-frat doesn't look good.

It’s not defensive. I’m just wondering how much time it takes to find video after video of frat fights. Is there a website for them like world star?

Speaking of defensive, did you get balled? You seem to think you know a lot about fraternities-underage drinking and other illegal activities. I’m just wondering if you were in one.

I don't know, maybe to avoid $25 million lawsuits against LSU
I'm sure LSU would be fine if all those frats pulled up their stakes and left.
They could use all that space for campus housing.

no. it's the premium price to not have to play a 5 hour round behind some jackass wearing jeans on the course with his dog

Well, I thought of a fraternity as a premium price to have 3 meals a day provided, easy campus parking provided, on campus housing provided, and high dollar fun parties provided with bands, unlimited alcohol and women at your house.

I was in a fraternity at Ole Miss and lived with people in 4 or 5 other fraternities throughout my time in college and a few guys not in fraternities at all. Most people don't use it as a crutch to find friends, its just fun as frick and incredibly convenient for stuff like food and housing.

LSU was always a GDI-ish college compared to ole miss, Bama, UGA.

Most people don’t keep up with the Greek system, unless you’re a black guy with the kappa alpha psi license plate cover on your luxury car. My fraternity was once “good”, but got kick out and rechartered by a bunch of god damn nerds. Meanwhile the shitty fraternities from back in the day are “good” now.
