If he had a pair of balls he would have told them to frick themselves. You have to know your limit and you should never put yourself in danger over a fraternity. No fraternity I know at Ole Miss alcohol hazes, that was before the whole LSU incident. It’s as much on the actives as it was on him.
What happened to him was awful but their is blame to go around, not just one group of people.

It does help to have a network, however the social dynamics of fraternities have changed compared to 20 years ago. Now you have arse clowns who are killing people, causing too much of a liability for LSU and the fraternities themselves. I'm sure if you're buddy was a Phi Delt, he would distance himself from them while running for office, as any smart person would. It is a shame, but it is what it is.

He was no more forced to drink than college students being forced to drink when they play presidents and assholes, green man, or any other drinking game.
