There is a lot of underage drinking and illegal things happening at normal tailgates as well, guess LSU can’t afford for they to tailgate there either

Because the sjw and virtue signalers in higher ed are towing the line of the great and unshakable narrative that says frats are bad. This is combined with a push to monetize tailgating. The real reason, I suspect, is to eventually take full control of the real estate the houses are sitting on.

this. LSU has been trying to eliminate greek orgs for years. This is nothing new. They just have the opportunity to get it done and they're moving towards it.

The original map released with the campus master plan several years ago didn't include any Greek houses. That was well before any of this stuff happened.
