Why is LA state government so incompetent?

There’s a few departments that are well-run, but if you dive into those departments more...it’s the ones that have contracted out their primary services to a private sector firm.

Many of the local and state politicians are pretty retarded and the governor or congress politicians pander to the retarded constiuents.

It all starts with the uneducated population

Because the populace, by and large, allows it to be. People will complain about corrupt politicians, but continue to elect the same corrupt politicians and never demand any substantial change to a system that is fundamentally broken.

It’s just the culture here in South Louisiana. Everything is about politics, money, and power down here. Democrats and Republicans are all corrupt down here which is why I won’t vote for another politician for governor no matter how good he may seem. My vote goes to Eddie Rispone this year
