It’s all about give and take man. What you think is important isn’t what she thinks is important, and you both have to give.
This seems like something I would accompany my wife too if I enjoyed it or not or if I had golfing plans. However If she doesn’t ask too much, and she wants you to go with her…give her what she wants.

Unless this is some special trip to a unique course with buddies, you’re the a-hole here.
There are some events that are usually for “couples”. Reunions, weddings, etc. If you’re a decent person, you can take one for the team for a couple hours to attend.
I have no doubt she’s attended things with you that probably aren’t as fun as other things she does, but did it for you.

Let me tell you how this reunion thing is going to go. Your wife is going to show up at that gathering looking as good as she can currently manage. She’s going to reconnect with her old girlfriends, who are also making their best efforts. They’ll all have their husbands in tow, and will feel sorry for her that she is flying solo. While she’s dealing with that ego hit, some guy who never gave her the time of day in high school is going to clock that she is on her own, and chat her up. Later, he’ll send her a Friend Request on Facebook. How the rest of this drama plays out is up to your wife. Do you really want to put her in that spot?

I went solo to my HS reunion and those ladies are insanely thirsty. The response has me thinking I might even get back on FB. And of course the men shoot their shot at the ladies by a factor of 10. Why send your resentful wife out to guys she may have previously idealized? Not smart.

my twentieth everyone was still looking pretty good and many coming off their first divorce, it was nothing short of an orgy and general free for all frickfest that carried over for a few years
