Just bought a Zinus hybrid green tea cooling based on done recommendations on here. Broke it in last night… and it didn’t disappoint.
Google “tigerdroppings mattress” and you will find more threads and opinions than you know what to do with. I went through dang near all of them.

This is all products nowadays. Companies figured out planned obsolescence or shorter lifespans on products lead to higher volume of sales. Quality is no longer considered of paramount importance

I never understood the purpose of spending that much on a mattress that you will frick and sleep on leaving all kinds of bodily fluids from sweat, pee, gizz, anal secreations, period blood, and others. I know most people would put a fitted sheet on a bed, but that offers no true protection. Heck even a towel would not protect the mattress, if you go to pound town on a certain time of the month.

Do a search on mattresses without fire retardant chemicals that can be flipped if you don't want to be exposed to toxic chemicals.

We have a latex mattress, it is several layers. The bottom layer is very dense, will probably never need replacing. The layers get progressively softer and you can replace the layers. A top layer for our King is $250, but our first latex mattress lasted 15 years and we only got a new one when we moved and went from a queen to king.

I have exactly the same situation. Mediocre mattress 20 years ago is now sagging. I have resolved to buy a new one several times over the years, but each time I start, I find so many options thst I get overwhelmed and just shut it down.
I am not believing for a minute thst memory foam doesn’t sag, though. I think that most people that have memory foam just paid so much for it thst they won’t admit thst it sags!
