Hospice is kinda like putting people down.

this will spark a lot responses but I agree, just went through this with my mother, had a long talk with the hospice rep, my sister, and another medical professional before, but when it was obvious that quality of life was gone, there was pain, and she would never gain consciousness again, I authorized the morphine, she wasn't drugged to death or overdosed, she got the prescribed dose at the prescribed intervals and peacefully slipped away, I'm glad we did it

Because animals aren’t people abs it’s illegal to kill people.

If you consider consent, you could argue it's more ethical to assist a consenting adult than it is an oblivious animal

That's what hospice nurses do when they 'forget' to take the extra morphine paste with them when they leave.

But, to answer your question, it's beyond the pale of stupidity to equate humans with animals.

It happens with humans more than some people realize. I know of a couple of very close family members who were end stage cancer and the hospice nurse very carefully told the family members how to increase the morphine drip when no one else was around. From comparing notes with others, that's not uncommon.

Get a picture or verification of a late term abortion for a human baby.
Then take a picture or verification of the same procedure on a domestic animal, kitten or puppy, post them both os social media.

What IYO, would be the public's reaction?

How is it illegal to destroy an eagle egg, punishable by 250k and jail time, but perfectly ok to destroy human embryos?

Euthanasia should be legal, and should be a choice a person make if they are in full capacity of there thoughts, or have an order drafted while in a sound state of mind (like a will).

That said I believe it is a sin and that person will have to answer for that choice in the next life, but my religion and religious beliefs do not reflect what I believe should be legal.

A human can consent to euthanasia and an animal can't.

always been a proponent of assisted suicide.

Nah we cant let you end your suffering, but we are completely fine letting you waste away for months in complete agony until your body finally checks out from some horrible disease that will strip you of all your dignity and we cant cure. sounds reasonable.

If you have to ask that question, I must then assume you are a mongoloid or a troll.

Pick one. There are no other options.

B/c animals are property
Then why do people say they put down their animals because it's the "humane" thing to do?

That line runs counter to your assertion that the reason is because they're property.
