The OT has always come through for me on philosophical questions.

Thanks in advance.

Be thankful it’s not or you’d be first.

Hospice is kinda like putting people down. Don’t kill em but pump them up so full of drugs they don’t feel anything.

Probably something about us being created in the image of God.

I would feel worse about killing an animal with my car than killing a human with my car.

Maybe god put other people on this earth to help people who are suffering and just waiting to die, to do the humane thing and end it for them so they don't have to continue suffering.

Why can we hunt deer for food, but not humans?

I’m not talking about randomly killing an animal. There are laws against that. We’re talking about euthanizing animals when the vet deems to be in the best interest of the animal, owners agree.

because they are animals and not humans. Anyone that equates an animal to a human is severely fricked up in the head. Just watch how they reply to this

You can put yourself down anytime you wish. Please leave me be, though.

Moral: killing humans is wrong by law
Spiritual: killing humans is sinful according to God
Anthropological: killing other humans decreases likelihood of species success

It is legal to do so. It’s called abortion.

I am not advocating for it, but in places where euthanasia has been legalized it is usually the healthcare provider coordinating with patient or family in absence of patient cognizance.

I’m sorry for your loss, I’m sure that was incredibly difficult for you all. I suppose that is similar.
