You can make around 12 gals for yourself but it’s illegal to sell it. Friend of mine makes it. Got a Crown Royal like recipe off the net. Also makes brandy. Smoothest shite ever

You can make as much as you want. There are suppliers in New Orleans who sell ingredients in the size needed to make the stuff. You just can’t sell it.

Well, the real answer is you can create alcohol that is toxic to the human body when creating unregulated alcohols. So the government is not restricting you from potentially poisoning yourself. They are restricting you from potentially poisoning other people who think they might be drinking something safer
