Same here. I woke up thirsty and I'm drinking one now.
I buy the lemon lime flavor ones. Tastes like a Sprite with no sweetener of any kind and it's really good.
I've tried the orange flavor ones and like those too.
Ingredients are carbonated water, natural flavor.
Zero calories, zero carbs, zero sodium zero anything.
I have wondered what one might taste like with natural cola flavoring and none of the sweeteners or sodium or caffeine. I bet it would be pretty good.

Yeah its a great alternative. I think it most try it once and hate it...but it grows on you. I actually got a sodastream with a glass bottle. Just fill it up and set it in fridge(although I like it room temp as well).

because artificial sweeteners are designed to be habit forming AND toxic.

Yep. It has been shown more often that they actually help people abstain from worse sweet cravings than if they didn't have them at all.

That's not to say that drinking them makes you healthier, but they are very useful in helping people stick to a healthier eating habit if they are prone to sweet cravings.

You even microplastics, baw?

quote:

The researchers found that, on average, a liter of bottled water included about 240,000 tiny pieces of plastic. About 90% of these plastic fragments were nanoplastics. This total was 10 to 100 times more plastic particles than seen in earlier studies, which mostly focused on larger microplastics.

They're designed to be toxic?

Point to the peer reviewed original studies on this.

They don’t exist. The furthest they’ve gotten is saying you’d need to consume around 36-38 per day to begin to see effects.

Soda in general ain’t great for your enamel, but “diet soda chemicals!!!111” people are completely duped by random articles with biases or just misinformation.

Probably not designed to be, unless they are in cahoots with Big Pharma.

But, a side effect, none the less.

Diet drinks are worse for you than the non-diet kind.

I don't drink either.

It tastes great.

It warms you up.

Acts as a laxative.

And it stimulates you.

I drink two cups every morning. I would not feel right if I didn't.

If a regular Coca-Cola eventually kills me, I’m fine with it!

The people who go to McDonald’s and order $25 worth of food then a diet soda kill me. What’s the point?

Why are they worse than the regular versions?

There are people that “need” coffee with cream and sugar every day.

Right I don't see how someone "needing" a diet coke is any different than the millions of people who can't function in the morning until they have coffee

Because they use man-made chemicals that your body doesn't know how to process.

I drink mine black.

Once you go black, you'll never go back.

We've long known that it is arguably much worse for you than the regular version (which already isn't good for you) but it also tastes way worse.

Except it's not. This is akin to the food pyramid bs
