My theory is that northerners are just generally assholes.

There’s some truth to this.

My senior year at Ohio State, we beat Michigan to make the natty against Miami.

I’d been up the night before, so when game ended at 3:30 I walked home from stadium and passed out.

When I woke up at 8 pm, my street was on fire.

Minimum 20-30 cars turned over and set on fire.

Riot police everywhere. Limp Bizkit music was blaring from every direction.

Shoutout Summit Avenue Columbus Ohio 2002.

Go bucks.

Louisiana has a culture of public celebration. We do it routinely. Thus, a big championship victory is just another one. In addition, police forces in Louisiana tend to excel at crowd control, on account of how experienced they are at it. So, our big public celebrations rarely get truly out if hand beyond a few random pew pews.

San Antonio says Hi.

Both cities know how to throw a party and keep it fun.

Well, it's still Bourbon street. Winning the Super Bowl isn't going to fix all of our problems.

What riot? I was in Brooklyn watching the final game on the side of a building from the street. There was no rioting, just ecstatic fans cheering everywhere. “Let’s go Knicks” Nodifferent than BR after the 2019 Natty.

People in the South are far more likely to have guns. Therefore, less assholeism.
