Why don't people care as much when men die?

Link is to a case study of the media and male disposability. For several years, men are massacred and no one cares. Several thousand are shot, burned alive, and whatnot, and there's no outcry....until women are involved.

If you see the stats on male vs female suicide, sentencing disparity between sexes, work place death and injury, college enrollment gap, etc, etc.....our culture no longer sees men as having any value. We are seen as disposable and replaceable, and not many seem to think it's an issue.

A guy who stole some stuff from me got cut down by an AK on Deare Street in New Iberia a couple of years later.
All his homies and female relatives were posting on social media how he was a great guy who did right by everyone.
If you searched his name, he had a lengthy violent record including an attempted carjacking on Govt St. in BR.

Men are expendable in society. Add the fact that one man can spread his seed to many women and biological men are more expendable as well.

And women were to be home safe raising kids. But that mindset is no longer tolerated. I understand the history, not the new hypocrisy.
When the wage gap is 17%, people protest. When sentencing gap is 19% between white and black, people protest. But when the female to male sentencing gap is 60%, no one says a word, when the suicide rate 80/20 no one says a word, when workplace death gap is 93/7, no one says a word.
I know no one will ever change their minds, and I understand the rationale of "who really gives a frick", it's just a shame.
