Trees and land are better, I don't hear my neighbors through my 20 acres.

6 foot fence and a property line absolutely covered in Hollies and magnolias. Like 15-30 foot wall depending on where you look. Have close neighbors, but I’m in total privacy

A residential wall is even better when you line the top of it with broken bottles to ward off the local criminal element.

Really doesn't have anything to do with the thread topic.

Fences make good neighbors and walls are even better.

Most houses in Los Angeles have walls in the backyard. Probably because our yards are so small that they are measured in square feet and not acres.

If you don’t have a wall you can’t tear it down.

Sure it does.

If you want the convenience of living in a metropolis, you take the lack of privacy along with it. If the topic of conversation is, in fact, privacy at your home, move away.

You can't have both, you can have one with the illusion of another, best case.

Cairo could be a beautiful, historic town. Very sad what happened to it
