I just heard of the sad news in New Orleans. Of course the national news has to mention the French Quarter where it took place.

Why doesnt the news give a description of the suspect? I'm headed through New Orleans East tuesday and I need to Know hoss!

Because we humans don't have descriptions.. We're all the same and need to start seeing each other for the homogenous beings that we are.

I wasn't a witness but I can probably give you a description of the suspect.

Young male with curly black hair and dark eyes wearing athletic shoes. That ought to be narrow enough for you to pick him out of a lineup.

If he was over 6'2" he'd probably have to go with a 6xl to achieve the same look.

I don't know what a 7' tall guy wears but he'd stick out too easily. Our trigger man was probably 5'6-6'

News Stations are really woke in NOLA. I heard Eric Paulson on WWL describe someone who robbed a store on the west bank as " a male wearing an orange cap"

And that, boys and girls, is how Eric Paulson has survived on New Orleans TV for over 30 years.

It doesn’t fit their narrative.

Same reason certain news programs refer to the president as Mr. instead of President X.

They are so brave.

Just assume the typical description unless told otherwise.

The proverbial and prototypical “unidentified black male.”

Could it be?
