Nearest appointment I could get was in August. But they did email the paperwork to me electronically to fill out. They make you fill out a bunch of woke carp added to medical history paperwork now. Thanks Obamacare.

You need to find yourself one of those concierge doctors.

I just booked something for my son and first available was the end of February 2025.

My wife's clinics are booked through November right now.

I have the exact opposite issue. It’s been much easier for me to see my doctor than in years past.

Last time I went some libturd looking chick said I didn't need TRT even though I was 41, healthy weight and workout but have no energy or motivation. I got so frustrated about it that I haven't been back to a doctor. I'm 44 now and may never go back. She didn't even want to test ne for low testosterone.

A GP Doctor takes forever..

If I need an ortho, I go straight to BROC and it's usually a quick turnaround.

This hands down if you can swing it.

I see my doctor on a moments notice whenever i need it. Get in to specialist quickly all coordinated by them, not just a referral and out you go. They have a sports physiologist i see quarterly who develops my work out routines, twice a year dexafit scans and VO2 tests. Every visit is at least a full hour talking through results and not just prescribe and get out of here. It's been well worth the money.

When my wife broke her humerus in Park City a few years ago, they were on the phone coordinating care 10 minutes after hitting the bottom of the mountain. Got one of the trauma ortho surgeons at Baylor to call a buddy in PC to clear his schedule for the 8 hour surgery the next morning. I'm convinced that care is the only reason she's regained full mobility.

I got in pretty quick. Less than a week, and that was to get established as a new patient.

Obamacare purged the industry…

DV away, but it’s true. For Ed everyone into specialty medicine, leaving the dumbasses for general md care. Socialism of roids

When you let in millions of illegals and give them medical access it clogs the system. Also doesn’t help providers got rid and cut down staffing during covid backlogging the system as well.

Why don’t you lift weights and stop eating carbs so you don’t need the doctor

Must be nice to be on medicaid

That's because they are terrible with scheduling. I am fishing buddies with 2 dentists that work separately, both have 2 or 3 dentists any given time in their office. All of them work M-Th, with Friday off.

Seems like if you were a young dentist you could work Th, F, S only and kill it

We use Neighborhood Health on Airline and love it. Can get same day appointments and my wife just established care there with the woman’s health specialist after our last kid.

There are so many tiers and options available these days that you don’t even need to go down the higher priced concierge route.

For example, some doctors may not offer unlimited visits and access, but they still offer several visits a year, plus things like an annual physical, blood work, EKG, etc. for a fraction of the cost of a true concierge doctor.

A lot of it is because patients being discharged from the hospital are immediately scheduled for follow up appts. I’d say a very high % don’t show
