Ginger has antiemetic properties.

There is so little ginger in the average ginger ale that it certainly has no real effect.

Probably a temporary sugar high and insulin surge accompanied with a dopamine-enhanced placebo effect.

In short, it doesn't actually help.

Eh, I don't think so. Carbonation stimulates the pyloric valve to open, which helps the contents of the stomach to head on out. It also relieves pressure on the top end by eliminating gas.

That’s why they give it to you with sushi. So you can keep it down.

Ginger root is most effective if you peel it and put it in your rectum.

It’s placebo. Most ginger ale doesn’t even contain any actual ginger.

What’s a real ginger ale? I love Schweppes, but I known that it doesn’t really contain any ginger, and love spicy ginger.

The dude at Royal Brewery out in NO East brews his own ginger ale.

That shite will peel the paint off your car.

Mind over matter, since there is little or no ginger in the drink

I put some organic apple cider vinegar in my ginger ale for a drink before bed, it's not too bad once you get used to it (if you don't like apple cider vinegar)

So, it has nothing to do with ginger but maybe some slight benefit of carbonation. I kige this.

That stuff is a lot better than Schweppes or whatever but it's still some serious sugar water.
