That picture is from 2016. Even the most basic fact checking would have shown you this.
The OP, like Strannix, believes everything he reads on the internet that validates his biases
That being said, windmills in the ocean are dumb

it has now been revealed that the most likely cause of death was acute cardiovascular failure, the contents of their stomachs was alarming, to say the least. Among the squid beaks and fish parts was a whole lot of plastic
These ones, however, had accidentally eaten a surprising amount of exceedingly strange stuff: a plastic car part, bucket parts, and perhaps the strangest of all, a fishing net that was almost 50 feet long

This all happened in the ‘70’s… they figured it out.
That one was right up there with Les Nessman's Turkey drop

"Okay, fine. That still does not address the issue. Why are these whales dying at such a high frequency."
...are they dying at an unusual rate? The original post only had a twitter link.

OP thinks randos on Twitter are reliable news sources as long as it fits his beliefs. It’s a great example of confirmation bias.

Who is Brett Alexander and why should I believe him? Secondly, who gives a shite? Whales die all the time.

Apparently, this is becoming common. No denying the that the oceans are full of garbage.

You can use google and find out in 5 seconds that this is not true. Who has the confirmation bias now?

Invade the Philippines and stop them from fricking making and throwing away fricking plastic…
Oh, and make sure their democracy is valid or we freedom the shite out of them.

Hopefully a real marine biologist can chime in. I'm really curious if there is a relationship between these windmills and the whale killings.
Why call them killings? Aren’t they just deaths? “Killings” seems to imply that it is somewhat intentional.

Like all Tucker Carlson agitprop, this thread belongs on the Poli Board.
Per the AP, there is no evidence of any humpback whale killed by windmills.

The Marine Mammal Stranding Center, located just north of Atlantic City in Brigantine, responded to the city’s two recent whale deaths. Sheila Dean, the center’s director, said it is not yet known what caused the deaths, pending post-mortem tests. But she noted that many variables could be in play, including underwater sonar use by the military, the prevalence of plastic pollution in the ocean, and the ever-present danger of collisions with ships.
She also said there is a larger-than-normal number of whales in the region right now because their food sources are still in the area. That could simply mean that with a larger total population, a corresponding number of deaths could be taking place, she hypothesized.

I think we reached the point of diminishing returns on things done to "save the planet" around 1990. Anything done with that goal after 1990 seems to me to have backfired.
That's right around when CAFE regulations backfired, and everyone replaced their cars with "trucks." Not too long after that, we started getting cars that shut off at red lights, "EnergyStar" electronics that wind up in landfills when the power switch fails, etc.

One of the whales said, in it's gasping breath, "frick this gay earth".

OP, like i said.

There’s a magnetic field that escapes around these wind generators that messes with the whale’s sonar and sense of direction.
It’s like what happens when you put a magnet next to a compass.

You can't be posting stuff like that, it's a conspiracy theory that whales are being found dead on beaches and it goes against the confirmation bias of some posters
