Yeah, the drama over some innocent, tastefully done pictures was ridiculous. Be you liz. Have a great weekend. Hopefully we will be tailgating and watching sports again soon.

I will give the "amateur" players a pass. They are still trying to make their way.

Friend,
Youth and even high school sports, where they haven’t been corrupted by adults living vicariously through their child, I believe are acceptable, so long as they achieve at least one of the four noble ends of athletics: teaching discipline, honesty and sportsmanship, teaching teamwork, pushing one to excellence through hard work, and providing recreation.
It is far safer and more profitable to teach a child a musical instrument or have them join a church choir than it is to have them join a sports team coached by some undisciplined pro sports follower who knows nothing of the ways of grace. I sometimes regret that Mother and Uncle encouraged me to play volleyball. Had I not had that terrible ankle injury in the French Quarter, I might be a professional athlete today. How much the poorer I would be had Providence chosen that path.
Yours,
TulaneLSU

What a soft bunch. Trying to "take a stand" even though in reality you'll still watch.
Just because you don't agree with what they're saying doesn't mean you cut it off.

Friend,
As a renaissance child, that grew up juggling LMTA piano competitions, and Dizzy Dean travel ball,...I can say that both were no match for a 14 year-old kid wanting to party.

Seems like you did it right then.

Maybe people don’t like homewrecking whores that mess around with married men
ETA: The married person stepping out on their marriage is trash. But so is the person knowingly messing around with someone married. Both just pure trash.

Because you aren't living your own life, but vicariously through others and "birging" (basking in reflected glory).
Write a book, paint, music, woodwork, CREATE something that might last beyond your body. Or just kill other living things by hunting and fishing.
I make one LSU football game in person each year, and do watch sports on tv because it reminds me of the incredible abilities that humans have been given.

I enjoy watching elite athletes attempt to execute strategic plans in camaraderie with my friends.
As for the NFL and kneeling...I only watched Saints games at that time. I will do the same if those circumstances return.
Just my .02.

I've been watching people drive around in circles for the last fee weeks. It's been quite entertaining

It doesn't make any sense. We could be outdoors, fishing, hunting, hiking, etc. Both days.
Isn't that what most people in the south do when their football team isn't playing on the weekends?

Where can I get a good south Louisiana style fried seafood platter around here?
I got a fried fish plate from Angeline’s Louisiana Kitchen in Berkeley last night after a recommendation. And it was just alright and they wouldn’t let me add fried shrimp even though they have shrimp poboys on the menu.
