I watched the Chiefs game last weekend. The fat sow in the Jardiance commercial was on my screen five times longer (at least) than Taylor. You’re just ate up.

Swift is a product of the Social media age and while she has talent, it is not near what people make her out to have. Her songs are annoying because they are uncreative lyrically since everything is “my exboyfriend sucks, hear me roar” and she is overblown.
With all that said, the obsession by her fans are what makes people dislike her. You can’t say she is not great without being accused of some crazy crap and as others said, the Super Bowl is now being made more about her than the actual game.
She’s a media marketed success, not based on talent. It just annoys people when they just want to watch a football game and he announcers have to mention a fan.
In the end, I think they will lose some normal viewers for the game but feel they will get enough TayTay obsessed fans that will more than make up for it.

I've watched 5 minutes of NFL combined this year. This is the most thought I've given TS in my life. (posting this morning on this) I'm not ate-up with her, but it's obvious they are shoving her in everyone's face.
OP Q - why is she hated?

Uh, yes. She's everywhere you look. If you want the real answer to the OP's question that is it. Over exposure. It turns people off. Things like her politics and shitty teeny bopper music will make some people dislike her. But plastering her face everywhere you turn will trigger the real backlash. I don’t know her personally, I don’t know her music, and I don’t hate her.
The non-stop conversation around her is annoying, but that could be said about any celebrity when they “are the news.” The Kardashians come to mind as an example.

I think the point is that world's are colliding here. My wife has never watched a NFL game in her life, but all of a sudden she tells me she's a huge Travis Kelce fan.

My daughter and wife both like her. She has a few catchy tunes but isn’t my cup of tea. As for hating her, I have more important things to do than waste my time hating a teeny pop star who has no impact on my life other than having to hear her music sometimes when my daughter is playing her Spotify in my truck.

I get dislike]]ing the media hawking the Kelce-Swift thing and oversaturation but she doesn't seem to like it very much either, just comes with the territory of being a top-level celebrity.
I find her attractive with talent even though I do not particularly like her music. I'm sure Kelce will be the subject of a song at some point in the future. Whatever else you can say about her, she is pretty savvy in her handling of the business end of her career.

Hype overload more than anything IMHO.
She is successful and has longevity but GODDAMN I can’t watch something or read something without her coming up in it.
