Because they used to be average meat-eaters before they got woke.

Not all vegans. I know vegans who don’t have issues with hunters because they take their own meat and are not a mass processing plant. They also appreciate bow hunters.

I’ve eaten squirrel, rabbit, hog, deer, alligator, dove, duck, various fresh and saltwater fish taken by hunters and fishermen in the family. I have deer and fish in the freezer right now as most of us do. Sport hunting doesn’t bother me.

Anyone hunting/fishing in extreme excess and poaching does bother me!

Most of the nutrients our bodies need cannot be obtained from plants.
Which nutrients?

B12 and Vit D obviously but a lot of Americans are deficient in those and should supplement.

The irony in vegans is that most are not Christians or otherwise overly religious, so they don’t believe in a God judging them after death. If there’s no judgement, what’s the point in being ‘moral’?

Congrats on outing yourself as being a piece of shite to that would act far worse if he felt he could “get away with it”

And how did I do that exactly? I'll play your game, please explain how eating meat is morally wrong? To whom its wrong, and why?

I am Catholic but rarely go to Church, but I follow and believe in most of the things taught by the Church a hell of a lot more than most people that attend or don't attend. I actually would say that I follow my moral beliefs extremely well, and many of those beliefs are based on the foundation of Christianity. Do onto others what you'd like to be done to yourself.

But again, morals are unique to many things: ethnicity, country or origin, race, sex, etc.

To your point, many Christians believe that being gay is morally wrong. Does that make all gays immoral? I don't believe so.

Therefore, if I eat meat and don't think its wrong would it not be immoral for someone else to think I'm wrong? If the foundation of morals is based on not judging others?

Most of them probably should because they're living off of mock meat and french fries anyway.

So true. The few vegetarians I know love to proclaim how it’s healthier and more ethical while they scarf down a bunch of carbs, fake meat with little nutritional value and junk food. I told one that she was a carbatarian not a vegetarian and she laughed.

Yeah, you can easily eat like total shite and still be a vegan. Soda, chips, onion rings, etc. A lot of "ethical vegans" eat this way. I entered into it from the WFPB (whole food, plant-based) side which is nutritionally focused and didn't develop my other beliefs until after disconnecting from meat and dairy for a long period of time.

Hunting is an overwhelmingly conservative male activity. Vegans are overwhelmingly strident liberal females. Therefore, hunting cannot be tolerated. It must be eliminated.

The only vegan I ever knew also hated butterflies

She also chose to be homeless

So maybe it’s mental illness
