Why do Vegans hate hunters more than average meat-eaters?

Isn’t it better to kill the food you eat rather than just eat mass produced “Animal Genocide” from Walmart shelves? At least it’s more honest and respectful of the animal.

Vegans are either pure haters or pure lovers in my experience. You have to be to dedicate your diet to such an extreme restriction

Vegans are our own worst enemy. I don't have an issue with hunting but I'm definitely in the minority.

I can understand taking a moral approach and deciding to become a vegan with our modern advancements. I will never respect someone who does it on a whim or to be “different”. Those are the ones who ironically bark the loudest. I also just can’t imagine not having fried chicken in my life.

Yeah, there's definitely a large contingent that are just attention seeking and/or just trying to irritate their parents. No denying that. They usually don't stick with it long. I think something like 95% of vegans go back to meat and dairy in under a year. Most of them probably should because they're living off of mock meat and french fries anyway.

Modern advances have nothing to do with it, though. It's nothing but a moral stance against what they believe is "cruel". Most of the nutrients our bodies need cannot be obtained from plants. So anyone arguing that it's healthier is likely just going to the extreme with it.

The irony of someone becoming a vegan for moral reasons is they are doing just as much harm by just existing. They want to paint meateaters (especially hunters) as horrible humans because you are having a direct impact on the animal's death. But all of the habitat lost from the development of civilization and agriculture has an even larger impact on wildlife as a whole.

They're nothing but hypocritical morons. They probably all support green energy too, thinking it's better for the environment. Tell that to all of the birds and bats killed by wind turbines each year, and the fish and other organisms killed by hydroelectric dams.

I can't speak for them, but I would have to think it is probably more of the sport hunting for more exotic animals. I'm sure they don't really take the time to differentiate deer hunters with the former though.

I have no problem with people hunting. It’s definitely more natural than factory farming. Also a lot of money ends up in conservation efforts.

The irony in vegans is that most are not Christians or otherwise overly religious, so they don’t believe in a God judging them after death. If there’s no judgement, what’s the point in being ‘moral’? To make yourself feel better? Ok...those animals are going to die and death by humans is almost always better then a natural death.

Vegans hate hunters because hunters harvest the animals. They want to hate anyone doing the actual harvesting.

ETA: is a lion killing and eating an animal morally wrong? If you aren’t religious, then what makes a human killing and eating the same animal another predator kills and eats against a moral code? What code is this outside some made up progressive liberalism?

While I don't think anything should be hunted to extinction, hunting helps keep the population in control.

I personally don't hunt due to lazyness, but there's nothing wrong with it.

Vegans have issues. I could never be a vegan or a vegetarian.

If you are a vegan, went to an Ivy League School, and do cross fit...which one do you start a conversation with?

Factory farming and mass produced: out of sight, out of mind.

Modern hunters: post their harvest on instagram for clout.

This plus the hunting industry being on full display is probably why they get more attention from activists.

Animals are their gods and

hunters are their Satan.

It's a religion.

This.... might be the worst take on both vegans and morality that I’ve ever heard
