I see some do this during rush hour.

There are so many distracted drivers. I got hit in the back last week by a guy who said he had some gas cans turnover in the back and was reaching back at 50MPH to stand them up. He turned around as traffic was stopping and POW! Right in the rear.

If I was on a bicycle- dead. I was not hurt.

I'm pretty sure I've responded to a similar post before. This is such a horrible justification, breaking the law because...other people did too.

I think a good example of why lots of people dislike cyclists is the stop sign test.

When a car approachs a stop sign, even though some cars run them, you generally expect a car to stop. When a cyclist approaches a stop sign, it's 50/50 at best if they are going to slow down.

Cyclists are the primary reason I have to look both ways on a one way.

They ride the opposite way down a one way "for safety"

You nailed it.

It's like they've taken it too far and let go of common sense because they absolutely have a right to be there according to the law. Dumb dumb dumb.

Bc they are just like motorcycle drivers, they think everybody should be on some sort of special lookout for them.

My experience is a-hole cyclists far out number a-hole drivers. When you have traffic backed up, move. It's that easy.

The OP's question is legit, why put yourself knowingly in a dangerous situation?

Black people are loud because they want us to think they're cool in their spandex?

I love riding my bike. At the same time I hate most of the cyclists I see on the road. I limit my road riding to the weekends. I've been behind the guys on a busy 2 lane at rush hour enough to not be the guy doing that.

I don't mind cyclists as long as they stop at all stop signs and red lights like they are supposed to. It's the arse holes who think that they are entitled to share the road without sharing the rules of the road that are the problem

I do mind cyclists who think curvy arse Blackwater rd is a good place for their stupid habit. I've buzzed a couple on a Sunday morning once.

I had nowhere to go with oncoming traffic. They flipped me off like I was in the wrong.

I gotcha. I don't know anything about Davidson but it's still hard to believe given the number of cars on the road.
