No, not technically.. If we're talking a room extremely well ventilated then no.. There will be no issue.. The same room and your hotboxing non-smokers with a smokers then you'll have the non-smokers with levels of THC in their system.. Now it has to be an extreme situation is it highly unlikely yeah absolutely but its far from a myth.. Thus why I said you'd really have to be all up on someone.. Guess I should have said someone's..
But for the most part people that think by going to a concert where maybe 1/3 of the people are burning one (which would be an overestimate) are getting a contact high are experiencing a completely different neurological effect that actually being high..

World Cleanup Day 2020 focused on cigarette butts because they're the most littered item on Earth.
(To be clear, I think OP is way off the mark in general, but on the one point of a smoker exposing others to their smoke -- those who don't choose to be around it -- I agree.)

Actually it went exactly as I expected.

I find it hilarious that some even bitched about cigarettes and their smell when weed smells as bad if not worse, but just like cigarette smokers they don’t notice it.
I laugh at the people acting like weed has no health complications and has no impairment effect since all DWI accidents obviously involve high speeds, so being mellow and slow would never have risks.
In the end, it’s just funny to see them lose their minds and come out like roaches in defense of their roaches.
Weed likely gets legalized and I hope they tax the hell out of it. Makes bank for the government. Eat, smoke it, whatever in your homes all you want. Not saying otherwise.

It smells good to me, but I would not purposely expose you to it unless you chose to be around it. If smokers in general were more respectful, it wouldn't be an issue. But it is by far more of an issue with cigarettes.

Your only appoint against marijuana is completely non sensical. Have you ever heard the first rule of toxicology? It’s that “the poison is in the dosage”. Just by smelling marijuana you aren’t going to get high, as another poster said, it would be like worrying about getting drunk after kissing someone who has been drinking. You also stated that people argue that “it is no different than alcohol” which no one says, we say it’s completely different and not nearly as harmful(which is a fact).

The idea of him getting high from it is highly unlikely. Maybe if somehow he was indoors and close proximity somehow. But that's kind of irrelevant to me. If he doesn't want to breathe/smell the smoke, he shouldn't have to.

I personally hate the smell of the terpenoids but in this day and age where are you subjected to any sort of smoke other than a brief noseful? Unless someone was in the home of friends that smoked inside I just don't see any reason to get one's panties in a bunch. I do expect people to have some common courtesy in public areas and move away from people who are not smoking but the worst is that I have to move away.
Honestly, I am agnostic about weed and understand that legalization comes with hordes of unintended consequences but I think the positives outweigh the negatives.
