I was in Connecticut 2 weeks ago and I was shocked at the lack of trash on the roads.

It's called job security when you're a garbage man.

Exactly. No job, no ambition, no education, no willingness for a better way of life. So just throw garbage out the windows while driving, no job, has iPhone, tats all over, smoke cigs etc etc. Responsibilities out of wack with no plan for success.

Life full of just stupid arse decisions.
They are poor because they are filled with just plain stupid and idiotic behavior and decision making throughout their lifetime.

No education bra

Why do rich people buy a bunch of shite they dont need, then donate it or sell at a garage sell for nothing every 5-10 years?

Why do they use pesticides and fertilizer to the point it kills off every beneficial bug, worm, and plant within 2 acres of their house...

Then go to star bucks and demand a paper straw?

Being obese, lazy, uneducated, and blaming everyone else for their problems leads to littering and not caring about who’s around them.

Saw this this morning. Somebody left a can about 10 ft from the trash bin. Once at the same gas station saw somebody kick a bunch of coffee cups/mcdonalds bags out of their truck strange wilderness style.

I was up in north Mississippi last weekend and folks will dump an old couch on the side of the road about a mile away from the county dump.

When Treme was on HBO, the Times-Pic would do a recap of each episode with explanation of local people, places, songs, etc.

One episode showed a character finish her big fountain drink and immediately throw the cup down in the street.

The Times-Pic entry was something like, "LaDonna litters, which is common in New Orleans."

Sad but true.

I mean it’s also a generational thing. Remember the Mad Men scene where Draper threw all the picnic trash into the woods. I was raised in an upper middle class household, and back in the early 80’s, we didn’t think twice about tossing a glass bottle out the window into the ditch. Unless my mom was in the car. But my dad and I would just fling shite out the window back then. Obviously, it’s a different time some 40 years (okay 35ish year’s) later, but littering wasn’t always considered as trashy as it is now. Pun intended.
