Why do poor people litter?

To me there is nothing trashier. If you open your car window and throw your shite on the street, you are irredeemable.

I don’t have an answer. I saw a guy a few days ago open his car door and dump a bunch of trash right in the middle of the street, at s redlight. What the hell?

It’s not just poor people,had forestry employees,loggers on my land.After they leave I would pick up half a corn sack full of trash.I was shocked that forestry people would do that.

From my observation it is almost exclusively poor people. Typically successful people care about and take pride in the environment they live in.

That has long been the explanation that made sense to them. They don't feel like a part of the community, they feel like the community is oppressing them. So why make it nice?
