I drink scotch neat most nights so I can't knock on people that drink cokes.
But it is really fattening (from the sugar) on top of just being bad for you in general. And obesity is a terrible epidemic in our country.
FWIW, I drink water, black coffee, beer, and liquor neat. Not much else.

Coke Zero is the thing that I'm most sad about not being able to drink anymore.

But seriously, there are hundreds of people who live until they're really old and chain smoked for 50 years.

I have a nurse friend that tried to say cokes aren't bad bc of the reaction of sugar with the acid in the drink?
Can a doctor confirm this?

Will never understand the 300 pound lady or folks in the grocery store that buy 2 or 3 12 packs or a bunch of two liters. I'll drink maybe 2-3 a month, mostly because I'm mixing with alcohol or its late in the afternoon and I don't want coffee
