I've taken to drinking Cascade Ice (not sure where else it is sold, but we buy it at HEB). It is a sparkling water, and I do try and drink no more than 1 every 3-4 days. My question is this, with all the hullabaloo about diet cokes having a negative impact on your health, wouldn't the same thing apply to a artificially sweetened sparkling water? I believe it's the artificial sweetener that is detrimental, but I may be wrong. What say the O-T?

I drank a pack a day a few years ago. I still drink at least one 20 ounce of Coke Zero every day, often two or three. Way better than coffee.
