Absolutely genetics are involved.

This is a stupid rabbit hole. I was trying to prove a point that cokes are incredibly high in high fructose corn syrup which is terrible for most people if they are trying not to gain weight.

Warren has great genetics and exercises. Good for him.

What does it being 2016 have to with whether people are drinking coke or not?

soda makers have much more powerful allies w/corn and sugar industries.

tobacco only goes into a few products that are just various ways of delivering nicotine into the body.

the sugar and corn industries along w/the hundreds of food/drink companies that use sugar/high fructose corn syrup to sell their products fight hard to to stop any kind of soda regulations b/c that will likely creep into regulations for other food and drink products that are just as awful for you.

This is the dumbest shite I read on here all day. Look, Coke isn't the best thing you can put in your body. No one should drink the shite all day long or not drink anything else, but I like to have a coke with my supper. Do I need to have it? No, in fact I might go days, maybe even a week or two without drinking it. Do you know any smokers who does that? GTFO

You should actually.

The Dr is for Dr Pepper and the RC for RC Cola.

I liked to mix the two when I was a kid.

It is worse than that. It is widely accepted...

Elevated insulin is also strongly associated with obesity, which is expected soon to overtake smoking as the leading cause of preventable cancer. Cancers linked to obesity and diabetes have more receptors for insulin and IGF-1, and people with defective IGF-1 receptors appear to be nearly immune to cancer. Retrospective studies, which look back at patient histories, suggest that many people who develop colorectal, pancreatic or breast cancer have elevated insulin levels before diagnosis.

Guess what drives up insulin levels very effectively...

Look at the parallels in the 2 articles. It seems that "science" picked a favorite and is sticking with it....

Only when I mix it with fine spirits such as crown royal or Bacardi. Only the best for me.

Care to offer anything of substance? (Other than an ad hominem attack)

The irony is that if you read the articles (which you likely have not), they point out that detractors from "conventional" thinking were suppressed in large part by ad hominem attacks. Current science is now suggesting that the shunned viewpoints may have been the correct ones.

Do you what you like boss (I literally profit from both good and bad decisions that people make everyday). I am good either way.
