Why do people like to live in Covington, La

There is only ONE way around. THere is no fast way to get to places. It drives me nuts.

You ever been to the rest of Louisiana? Covington is like Monaco compared to the rest of this flaming dumpster of a state.

At least in places like Slidell there are multiple ways to get around if you dont like sitting in traffic. In Covington there is HWY 190 and that is it.

Covington is for people who are too cowardly to move to a non-shitty state but also don't want to get murdered or their house to be worth 15,000 in 20 years.

Where do you live? Maybe it's because of the excellent school district that is St Tammany along with excellent private schools. Let's not mention the infrastructure and recreational areas and o yeah low crime rate.

Covington has really nice parts, nice parts, medium parts, and a small amount of shitty parts. Traffic sucks arse though

Do you even hwy 21 bro? Also, 190 is really only a pain for the first 3-4 lights north of 12.

One additional thing... there is multiple accesses to Covington. Hwy 190, 1077, hwy 59, hwy 21.... just to name a few.

HWY 21 SUCKS arse. EVEN WITH THE NEW ROADS THERE IS STILL TOO MUCH TRAFFIC.

I know someone in the process of moving back to New Orleans from Covington. I shite you not. They say the Northshore is a spcial and cultural desert. They miss Uptown and what living near the universities has to offer.

What are the biggest beefs with these cities?
Every state has some shitholes, but for christs sake, many of you La residents shite on every city in the state.
