I enjoy the change in seasons. I think somewhere that had about 3 months of each season would be about ideal for me. Here we have 6 months of summer most years.

There are all the same issues here in Virginia where we average 10 inches a year, with the exception that our DOT does prep the roads before an event. That didn't happen obviously before the storm a couple of weeks ago as it began with rain. And outgoing Gov Blackface didn't react very well and it will be a failure that ends his admin (referring to the I95 fiasco leaving hundreds stranded).

It's still a PITA at times, but we are just better prepared. I live out in country so having a wood stove and a generator is standard stuff.

You know how some people party before a hurricane? That's us w snow: make chili and some hot meade, gas up the 4wheelers and we're good.

I don’t like snow and have lived in the southeast all my,life. Snow is nice to see on TV and that’s all I can say good about it.

Because it never does snow. So when it happens once every ten years or so it's fascinating.

It's fun and if we get a decent snow that can cover the roads we often get a day off from work/school. Also, it is rare for most of us to get a decent snow, so that makes it more enjoyable.

I can only speak for those in South Louisiana and even then I am not speaking for everyone.. But because snow is a rare occurrence, depending on how much it snows, it allows kids who never experienced snow to get out and play in it. Its just an experience that doesn't happen often.

And yes its hard for people to drive in it, etc because again.. Its a rare occurrence.

Why do people in the north freak the frick out during the few weeks they have a heat wave during the summer?

If it snows, they tend to shut everything down. So it is usually a day off and people like things they don't get very often. I like it.

The real pain is freezing rain and icing roads when it doesn't snow. Much much more common and really dangerous but nothing gets shut down and people drive like it's just a rain storm.

I can deal with light snow down here. It's the freezing rain and ice covered roads that make me open up a can of NOPE.

I like it if it's on a Tuesday and I can stay home from work. But keep that shite away from my Saturday and Sunday morning tee times. I live down south precisely because I don't want to deal with that shite. Or cold weather in general.

The only thing about snow down here that I don't like is most of the bridges close. Good luck getting around South LA and not crossing a bridge somewhere.

Back in 2018 I had an appointment the morning that it started to snow about 30 miles from my house. It's not rocket science just drive slower. 90% of Louisiana's population is brain dead though. It was a total shite show. cars off the road all over people sliding through intersections. Good stuff.
