I do not like snow in Louisiana. People here do not know how to drive on snow/ice.

I like it as long as I don't have to drive in it because removal budgets can't handle repeated removal and control refreezing on overpasses.

I do, but I have no idea where to find it in a Houston of all places. I need to find an amigo connection and get the good stuff.

Because it doesn’t happen a lot, and when it does it’s usually not much and doesn’t cause a bunch of problems.
Grump old man.

Because some people like a change from hot and muggy weather and aren't inbred hicks?

I work as a cross country trucker and am used to driving in the snow but it is a HUGE pain in the arse to deal with because of how other people drive in it. Plus, getting out of the truck to make deliveries and fuel turns into a sloppy pain because it gets all over your clothes and gets tracked into the truck and makes for extra cleaning. I cringe every time I hear the women of my family scream "OMG THE SNOW IS SO PRETTY!" because it's a total pain in the arse for us that have to be on the roads all the time.

We don’t ‘like’ snow.
We LOVE snow!!!!
It’s because we never get any and it’s beautiful.

Maybe not everyone enjoys watching their kids play outside all day, sitting by a wood fire to get warm, eating hot soup or chili, hot coffee in the morning and a cold bourbon in the evening, and curling up in a warm bed with their SO?
You need snow for that?

It’s exciting to have because it doesn’t happen often. It isn’t that difficult to understand.

Not on Sat or Sun, but you do on a Tues. Another benefit of snow is not having to go to work or send the kids to school.

I hate it, especially now that Atlanta uses road salt. I'd like to toss a grenade in the cab of any truck spreading toxic salt and brine on our beautiful city.

Why do people in the north go to the beach?

I'm the exact opposite. I dread June through September months in advance

It doesnt snow in OK like it used to. When I was a kid we would have 3-5 good snows a year where school was let out early. I grew up on a cattle ranch and some of those we would be snowed in for several days until the grader cleared the road.
Now we just get a trace of snow or maybe 1 or 2 4-6 of snow inches a year.
